Integrated Omics–Driven Diagnostic Innovation Laboratory

Professor at AZ Board of Regents on behalf of Arizona State University

Tempe, United States

About

The Clinical Laboratory for Multiomics-Driven Molecular Diagnostics specializes in the development and clinical validation of advanced molecular diagnostic tests using integrated multiomics approaches. The laboratory leverages gene expression, epigenetic, proteomic, and autoantibody signatures to identify biologically meaningful molecular patterns associated with disease presence, severity, and outcomes.

By combining high-dimensional omics data with rigorously curated clinical specimens, the laboratory develops diagnostics that move beyond single-biomarker assays toward systems-level, mechanistic insight. Emphasis is placed on analytical validity, clinical performance, and real-world applicability across diverse patient populations and care settings.

The laboratory’s work spans discovery, assay optimization, and clinical validation, supporting translational research, regulatory pathways, and clinical implementation. Through collaborations with academic, clinical, industry, and public health partners, the laboratory advances precision diagnostics that improve patient care, enable early detection, and strengthen preparedness for emerging infectious and immune-mediated diseases.
