About
I.) INTRO: Health innovation projects increasingly need to demonstrate credible market validation, adoption pathways and scalability, in addition to scientific and technological excellence. This project cooperation offers an AI-enabled market validation and go-to-market work package (WP) designed specifically for Digital Health and MedTech innovations developed by European SMEs within Horizon Europe projects.
II.) REFERENCES: Scale Compass, based in Münich,a specialised go-to-market partner with proven experience in supporting 60+ European SMEs and scale-ups in validating, launching and scaling health innovations, particularly within the German and wider EU healthcare markets. ("Case studies 2018-2025" in the attachment)
III.) AI-enabled approach to market validation:
At the core of the work package is the use of personalised AI agents, implemented via the n8n (or other) automation platform, which operate as digital business development assistants throughout the project lifecycle. These AI agents are configured to support market-facing activities in a structured, traceable and Horizon-compliant manner. Key AI-enabled elements include:
A.) Automated stakeholder and customer discovery
AI agents continuously identify, classify and prioritise relevant stakeholders such as healthcare providers, payers, public buyers, KOLs, and industry partners, aligned with the specific innovation and target market.
B.) AI-supported customer validation and feedback loops
n8n-based workflows automate interview scheduling, surveys and feedback collection, ensuring systematic validation of user needs, adoption barriers and value propositions.
C.) Market intelligence and CRM enrichment
AI agents analyse qualitative and quantitative market signals, enrich CRM databases and generate structured evidence supporting impact, exploitation and scalability claims.
D.) Go-to-market pathway testing
Different market entry and adoption scenarios (clinical uptake, procurement-driven adoption, reimbursement-oriented pathways) are explored and prioritised based on AI-supported insights.
IV.) Value for European SMEs
A ready-to-integrate Horizon work package focused on market validation and uptake, reduced market entry risk through early, AI-supported validation, access to local market expertise and execution capacity via Scale Compass, tangible outputs aligned with Horizon Europe expectations, including validated market assumptions, stakeholder engagement evidence and scalable go-to-market strategies.
The cooperation is particularly suited for SMEs developing scalable Digital Health and MedTech solutions that require structured market validation and credible pathways to real-world adoption as part of their Horizon Europe projects.
