Portable AI-Based Surgical Navigation for Orthopaedics
Director of Innovation and Business Development at Artion Medical
Athens, Greece
About
We are developing a next-generation Portable Surgical Navigation System for orthopaedic surgery, initially focused on total hip arthroplasty and expandable to knee procedures. The system leverages computer vision, AI-based anatomical landmark detection, and real-time 3D visualization to deliver accurate intraoperative guidance through a compact, cost-effective, and OR-friendly platform, positioned as an alternative to large robotic systems.
We offer strong clinical insight in orthopaedics, system-level product definition, access to surgeon end-users for requirement validation and pilot use, and a clear commercialization pathway within the European medical device market, including regulatory and go-to-market expertise.
We are seeking partners under Horizon Europe (RIA/IA) with expertise in computer vision, AI/ML, surgical data processing, AR visualization, hardware sensing technologies, and clinical research, as well as hospitals interested in clinical validation and early adoption.
