AI-Enabled Plug-and-Play Biomedical Device Integration for Real-Time Clinical Decision Support in Hospitals
Head of Applied Research and Innovation Department at Rasyomed Health Information Systems
Istanbul, Türkiye
About
Our organization has developed a plug-and-play biomedical device gateway and real-time patient monitoring system designed for intensive care units and hospital environments.
The solution enables brand- and model-independent integration of biomedical devices, automatically collecting vital signs and transmitting data securely to hospital information systems (HIS/EMR), both cloud-based and on-premise. Installation is completed in under 10 minutes with minimal technical dependency.
Through centralized monitoring and intelligent alarm mechanisms, sudden changes in patient conditions are instantly communicated to clinicians via mobile and desktop platforms, enabling timely clinical intervention.
The next phase of the project focuses on developing an AI-powered clinical decision support system for the early detection of sepsis and organ failure—conditions affecting approximately 26 million patients globally and causing around 5 million deaths annually.
We are seeking research and clinical partners to collaborate on:
-
AI model development and validation
-
Clinical pilots and real-world testing
-
Health system efficiency and outcome evaluation
-
Scaling innovation across European healthcare systems
Our solution aligns with Horizon Europe priorities on digital health, high-value care, patient safety, and AI-driven clinical innovation.
