About
VoctoR Health proposes a collaborative project aligned with the HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-STAYHLTH-02 call, focusing on behavioural interventions as primary prevention for ADHD among young people. The project targets early risk identification and preventive support by leveraging immersive virtual reality (VR) environments and artificial intelligence–driven digital biomarker technologies.
The core approach is based on the real-time extraction of multimodal digital biomarkers derived from eye, head, and hand movement data captured during ecologically valid VR tasks, together with quantitative in-game performance biomarkers reflecting attention, impulse control, task persistence, error patterns, and learning dynamics. These complementary biomarker layers are processed through proprietary machine-learning and explainable AI (XAI) pipelines to generate objective, interpretable risk profiles associated with ADHD-related behavioural phenotypes.
Unlike conventional questionnaire-based or retrospective assessments, the proposed system enables task-embedded, high-resolution measurement of hyperactivity attention, impulsivity, risk control, and executive function under ecologically valid realistic conditions. This allows early identification of subclinical risk patterns and supports the design of personalised, adaptive behavioural interventions aimed at strengthening self-regulation, sustained attention, and goal-directed behaviour before clinical thresholds are reached.
Within the project, VoctoR Health aims to engage with academic institutions, clinical and pilot sites, technology partners, and data science experts who share an interest in advancing preventive digital health approaches for neuropsychiatric conditions. Through these collaborations, the project will support the validation of VR-derived digital biomarkers, the development of normative reference models, and the assessment of feasibility and acceptability in adolescent and young adult populations. VoctoR Health is open to working with experienced consortium coordinators and implementation partners to deploy and evaluate the proposed solutions in real-world settings. The expected outcomes include scalable, non-invasive digital tools that can contribute to primary prevention strategies for non-communicable neuropsychiatric conditions, promoting healthier cognitive and behavioural development and helping to reduce long-term disease burden.
