About

As a well-established group in materials science and technology, we offer our expertise in the development, 3D printing and testing of biomaterials for medical devices. The following topics are of particular interest to us (this list is not exhaustive):

  • bone and tissue engineering;

  • (bio)polymeric scaffolds;

  • bioceramics (e.g. zirconia, alumina and calcium phosphates);

  • polymer/ceramic composites;

  • ceramics for dentistry, e.g. implants and crowns;

  • ceramics for orthopaedics.
