Political Science expertise for Horizon Europe Health Projects
Researcher
Hamburg, Germany
About
I am seeking to collaborate on projects with consortia preparing or implementing Horizon Europe Cluster Health proposals, offering political science expertise to strengthen project design, governance, and impact.
A good deal of health research and innovation projects face challenges not primarily due to scientific or technical limitations, but because political, institutional, and stakeholder dynamics are insufficiently addressed. I contribute analytical and practical expertise to help consortia systematically engage with these dynamics across the project lifecycle.
My contribution draws on an integrated approach that combines:
-
Political science of health: analysis of policy contexts, institutions, interests, and power relations shaping health systems and reforms
-
Political science for health: actionable insights supporting decision-making, regulation, and implementation
-
Political science with health: co-production of knowledge with researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders
This expertise can support:
-
Governance and coordination work packages
-
Stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies
-
Theory of change and implementation pathways
-
Policy uptake, dissemination, and exploitation planning
-
Alignment with Horizon Europe impact and implementation criteria
I am interested in joining interdisciplinary consortia as a partner or contributor, particularly for projects addressing health systems, public health, equity, regulation, evidence use, and complex multi-actor policy challenges.
