Cross-border competence centre / innovation hub in digital and MedTech rehabilitation

EU & Innovative Project consultant at NSBproject

About

RTCC is a cross-border initiative designed to bridge the gap between technology providers, healthcare organisations, and end-users in the rehabilitation sector. Building on insights and results from European-funded projects, RTCC operates as a permanent hub for collaboration, testing, and upskilling, supporting the transition of innovative rehabilitation solutions from prototype to real-world clinical practice.

RTCC offers an integrated portfolio of cooperation services, including:

  • Knowledge & Learning Platform: digital resources, tutorials, manuals, and good practices on rehabilitation technologies to support awareness and adoption.

  • Networking & Matchmaking: online and physical spaces to connect companies, clinics, investors, and policymakers; facilitation of pilots and demonstrations in healthcare settings.

  • Funding & Investment Support: guidance on EU and private funding opportunities, proposal writing support, and investor matchmaking.

  • Regulatory & Market Guidance: tailored advice and workshops on MDR, GDPR, and reimbursement pathways.

  • Training & Skills Development: modular training programmes for healthcare professionals and “rehabilitation technologists”, bridging clinical and digital skills.

  • Co-Design & Sustainability: participatory sessions involving patients, clinicians, and developers to co-create usable, impactful technologies and ensure continuity beyond pilot phases
