Partnership/Collaborations on Health Services Research in Primary Care

About

We are are looking for partners and are open to joining existing consortia or coordinating new proposals. Below is an overview of our expertise and collaboration offers:

1. Research Expertise for Primary Care–Centered Projects

We can offer expertise in designing and conducting evidence-based and health services research in real-world primary care settings. This includes needs assessments, epidemiological studies, evaluation of care models, and mixed-methods approaches.

2. Access to Primary Care Networks in Austria

We can offer access as we establish practice-based research networks general practitioners and primary care units, enabling recruitment of participants, piloting interventions, and real-world implementation studies.

3. Expertise in Health Literacy and Evidence-Based Health Information Materials

We can offer expertise in planning and implementing interventions on the topics of health literacy, organizational health literacy as well as quality-checking and disseminating evidence-based health information materials in primary care.

5. Low Value Care

We can offer expertise on low value care and overdiagnosis through our involvement in the development and dissemination of Choosing Wisely recommendations in Austria as well as teaching about these issues to medical students.

5. Implementation Science & Evaluation Partner

We can offer contributing to process and outcome evaluations, feasibility studies, implementation frameworks (e.g., RE-AIM), and strategies for health interventions.

6. Evidence-Based Medicine

We can offer expertise in conducting health technology assessments, systematic reviews, and evidence synthesis for health information materials and guideline development.
