Primary Health Care Research institure - looking to participate as partner

The Fundació Institut Universitari per a la Recerca en Atenció Primària Jordi Gol i Gurina (IDIAPJGol) is the reference research institute for Primary Health Care in Catalonia. Created by the Catalan Institute of Health (ICS), we coordinate research across more than 300 Primary Care centres, with 33 accredited research groups, 8 territorial research support units, a Clinical Trials Unit (SCReN/ECRIN node), and one of Europe’s largest real-world databases based on primary care (SIDIAP, >6M patients).
IDIAPJGol provides broad primary care expertise essential for personalised medicine research:

• Chronic disease management (CVD, diabetes, multimorbidity, frailty)

• Large real-world data analytics (SIDIAP) for risk prediction, cohort building, external validation

• Health services & implementation research in real-life clinical environments

• Digital health, AI, decision-support tools, telemedicine

• Public health, epidemiology & prevention

• Clinical trials & pragmatic trials in Primary Care populations

• Health inequalities & vulnerable populations

• Patient-centred and community-based research

  • Real-world cohorts & primary care data

  • Risk prediction & personalised prevention strategies

  • Validation of clinical tools in real-life settings

  • Recruitment and follow-up of primary care populations

  • Evaluation of AI tools, digital platforms & clinical pathways

  • Socioeconomic, behavioural & equity analyses

  • Health economics and cost-effectiveness
