AI-powered Smart Urinal Sensors for Preventive Health Monitoring

Project Manager at Kamleon

Barcelona, Spain

About

Kamleon is seeking partners to join or build a European consortium aimed at advancing preventive health, digital diagnostics and smart environments through non-invasive urine biosensing technologies.

We develop smart urinal systems equipped with advanced biosensors, embedded electronics and AI algorithms capable of analysing hydration, infection risk and metabolic parameters in real time. Our technology has been deployed in sports, clinical and occupational settings, and we are now extending it towards elderly care, digital health, robotics-enabled bathrooms, smart cities and workplace wellbeing.

We aim to collaborate with partners in research, clinical validation, sensor development, data science, UX, living labs, elderly care, hospitals, telco/IoT integrators and industrial manufacturers to co-create highly scalable health monitoring solutions.

Kamleon can contribute to the consortium with:
Biosensing & Hardware Integration – development of urine sensing modules, embedded electronics, fluidics and prototypes.
AI & Data Analytics – predictive models for dehydration, urinary infections and personalised hydration insights.
Secure Cloud & IoT Architecture – device-to-cloud data pipelines, GDPR-ready platforms, fleet management & analytics dashboards.
Pilot Deployment & Validation – experience running pilots with athletes, industry workers, seniors and healthcare professionals.
Productisation Expertise – moving from TRL 4→7, CE-ready strategies, manufacturing roadmap and industrial partnerships.

We are interested in joining proposals under Horizon Europe, IHI, EIT Health, Digital Europe, CERV, Interreg and similar calls focusing on:
• Preventive health & early-detection technologies
• Ageing, frailty and elderly care
• Infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship
• Workplace health, smart buildings and digital twins
• Personalised health & wellbeing
• Continuous monitoring systems (biosensing, wearable alternatives, unobtrusive IoT)

We welcome collaborations with universities, hospitals, elderly-care providers, research institutes, industrial partners, municipalities, SMEs and corporates working in health, IoT, AI, cyber-physical systems and human-centred design.

Let’s build a strong pan-European consortium to transform how health is monitored in daily life.
