I lead the Hydrogen Storage Research Line at CIIAE, a public R&D institute. My work focuses on hydrogen storage and transport in solid carriers. I am currently scaling up storage systems and integrating then ito Power-to-X facilities.

I hold a PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering, an MSc in Chemical and Environmental Process Engineering, and a degree in Chemical Engineering. I have more than 15 years of research experience at CIIAE, the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), and Rey Juan Carlos University. My work focuses on materials and integrated systems for hydrogen storage, purification, compression and transport, particularly metal hydrides and porous materials such as MOFs. I combine materials development and characterisation with pre-industrial system design, project coordination and collaboration with universities, research organisations and companies. My current interests include integrating solid-state hydrogen storage with Power-to-X technologies and translating laboratory results into scalable, safe and efficient solutions.
