Our capabilities span custom material synthesis, ink formulation, device engineering, coating and printing, prototyping, and technology scale-up. We work with academic, research and industrial partners internationally to translate innovative materials into manufacturable technologies and real-world applications.
I am a materials scientist and engineering manager with over 15 years of experience in organic electronics and emerging photovoltaic technologies, spanning academic research and industrial development in Europe, Japan and Canada.
Before joining Brilliant Matters, I spent more than a decade conducting and leading research in Japan, including as an Associate Professor, with a strong focus on organic photovoltaics, thin-film processing and sustainable manufacturing.
At Brilliant Matters, I lead engineering activities around printed electronics and work at the interface between R&D, industrial scale-up and business development. A major focus of my current work is building collaborations with companies, research institutes and universities to bring next-generation OPV and other printed electronic technologies from the laboratory toward industrial manufacturing and real-world applications.
