The Workgroup for Economic and Infrastructure Policy (WIP) at TU Berlin focuses on interdisciplinary research in energy policy, economic modeling, and infrastructure systems. We actively contribute to the global energy transformation through high-impact research and policy development, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy, energy access, and international cooperation. WIP collaborates with governments, academia, and industry to develop innovative, evidence-based solutions for decarbonization and sustainable development.
Dr.-Ing. Redha Agadi is a postdoctoral researcher with extensive experience in renewable energy systems, microgrid electrification, green hydrogen integration, and regulatory analysis. He has managed and contributed to EU- and Africa-based research projects, combining academic excellence with consultancy experience. His expertise includes technoeconomic modeling (HOMER, PVsyst, MATLAB), stakeholder engagement, and smart microgrid design for agriculture and off-grid applications. He has worked across Germany, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
