GMZ Enerji is a deep-tech company developing advanced membrane technologies for clean energy, water treatment and carbon-related applications. The company’s technology platform focuses on PFAS-free ion exchange membranes (IEMs) and advanced nanofiber membranes. Its ion exchange membranes are designed for applications including green hydrogen production, fuel cells, energy storage, electrodialysis and electrochemical separation processes, with the aim of combining high performance, competitive cost and improved environmental sustainability. GMZ Enerji also develops nanofiber membrane solutions for advanced water and wastewater treatment. These membranes target the removal of dyes, heavy metals and other contaminants from industrial wastewater and have been successfully demonstrated with real textile wastewater. Building on expertise in material science, chemical engineering and nanotechnology, GMZ Enerji develops its membrane technologies from material formulation and laboratory-scale production to application-oriented testing and validation. The company is currently advancing its technologies toward pilot-scale production and international validation. GMZ Enerji aims to become a global membrane technology provider for industries transitioning toward cleaner energy, cleaner water and lower-carbon processes, with a particular focus on Türkiye, Europe and the MENA region.
