The research group “decentralized grids for renewable energies” focuses on techno-economic issues relating to the design and optimization of decentralized energy systems. Key areas include prosuming models, the use of battery storage in companies and flexibility options for integrating renewable energies. A central aspect is advising companies and regional public institutions on the implementation of innovative technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and maximize economic efficiency as part of the energy transition.
I am interested in the following CETPartnership thematic areas:
develop the optimised, integrated European net-zero emissions energy systemdevelop and validate integrated regional and local energy systems, NoREST initiativedevelop and demonstrate technical solutions for integrated industrial energy systemsprovide solutions and technologies for buildings to become an active element in the energy system
Research expertise in modelling and techno-economic assessment of decentralized energy systems, focusing on flexibility, storage, EVs, smart charging, energy sharing and decarbonization of buildings, SMEs and communities.
