A researcher in energy-harvesting materials, co-founder, and educator at Baskent University, leads projects on film coatings and ultrasonic spray pyrolysis.
Baskent University, high-quality education and innovative research are prioritized across various disciplines. A diverse community of students and educators is brought together to create a dynamic learning environment, fostering personal and professional development. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, graduates are prepared for success in the global marketplace through a strong focus on practical experience.
I’m Dr. Emrah Sarica, a researcher passionate about developing materials for energy-harvesting devices. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to work on various projects and write articles focused on thin film materials and coatings. I've also ventured into entrepreneurship, co-founding a start-up (IDASONIC Nanocoating Systems and Technologies www.idasonic.com) that designs and produces film coatings and ultrasonic spray pyrolysis devices.
Currently, I teach at Baskent University, where I also established a research lab. I’ve been fortunate enough to lead and participate in several projects supported by TÜBİTAK and other institutions. Although I’ve been able to contribute to the scientific community, I still see myself as a learner, always curious and eager to explore new ideas in materials science and energy technologies.
