Scalable Thin Film Deposition and Characterization for Clean Energy Technologies

About

I am an Associate Professor at Başkent University (Turkey) and currently a visiting researcher at Monash University (Australia). My ongoing research focuses on the scalable fabrication of electron transport layers (ETLs) for perovskite solar cells, utilizing techniques such as ultrasonic spray coating and other solution-based processes suitable for large-area applications.

My broader academic expertise lies in the growth and characterization of thin-film materials, specifically engineered for photovoltaic applications. Over the years, I have worked on a range of functional materials including perovskites, kesterites (e.g., Cu₂ZnSnS₄), and antimony selenide (Sb₂Se₃), aiming to optimize their performance through interface engineering and scalable processing techniques.

In addition to materials development, I design and build custom experimental platforms such as ultrasonic spray coating systems, electrospinning setups for both research and small-scale production environments.

I am actively looking for international partners for collaborative projects under programs such as Horizon Europe, M-ERA.NET, and Eureka. I am particularly interested in research efforts related to next-generation solar cells, functional coatings, and advanced manufacturing methods that support the clean energy transition.

I can contribute as a technology developer, materials scientist, or experimental partner with hands-on expertise in thin film deposition, process optimization, and device-level integration.
