About

SIMULEX is seeking project cooperation partners for the development, validation and application of NZEMS, an integrated modelling and decision-support platform for complex clean-energy and multi-energy systems.

NZEMS is being designed to support the analysis of interactions between hydrogen, CCS and CCU, geothermal systems, renewable energy, storage technologies, heating and cooling, industrial energy systems, buildings, transport infrastructure and subsurface resources.

We are interested in collaborative research, innovation and demonstration projects focused on integrated regional and local energy systems, industrial decarbonisation, hydrogen and renewable fuels, geological CO₂ storage, geothermal energy, underground hydrogen storage, renewable energy integration and net-zero infrastructure planning.

SIMULEX can contribute specialist expertise in reservoir engineering, reservoir simulation, subsurface energy systems, thermodynamics, phase behaviour, numerical modelling, technical validation and integrated energy-system decision support.

We are particularly interested in partnerships with universities, research organisations, public institutions, industrial clusters, technology developers and energy companies seeking rigorous modelling frameworks to evaluate technical feasibility, infrastructure interactions, system constraints and decarbonisation pathways.

Our objective is to support the development of robust, transparent and practical tools that help partners make better decisions for the clean energy transition.
