CNH2 – Cooperation for Integrated Hydrogen and Power-to-X Projects

Clara Serrano

Head of Projects and Communication Unit at Centro Nacional del Hidrógeno

Spain

About

The Spanish National Hydrogen Centre (CNH2) is seeking opportunities to participate as a research and technology partner in European and international projects addressing the development, integration, demonstration and validation of hydrogen technologies and their derivatives.

CNH2 covers the full hydrogen value chain, including hydrogen production, storage, distribution, transport and end-use applications, as well as hydrogen derivatives and Power-to-X solutions. This broad technological scope enables CNH2 to contribute to projects from individual technology development through to the integration and validation of complete energy systems.

CNH2 offers access to specialised research and demonstration infrastructure, including a renewable-energy microgrid for the integration and testing of hydrogen technologies, energy storage and energy conversion systems. Its advanced emulation and hardware-in-the-loop capabilities enable the modelling, control, testing and validation of complex energy and hydrogen systems under realistic operating conditions.

CNH2 is particularly interested in cooperating in projects focused on:
• Integrated hydrogen and renewable energy systems
• Hydrogen production, storage and distribution
• Hydrogen derivatives and Power-to-X
• Sector coupling and energy system integration
• Microgrids and flexible energy systems
• Digitalisation, modelling, emulation and hardware-in-the-loop validation
• Demonstration and scale-up of innovative hydrogen technologies
• Technology validation and performance assessment

CNH2 can contribute as a technology developer, testing and validation partner, demonstration-site provider, system integrator or research partner, depending on the needs of the project.

We welcome contact from organisations, consortia and project developers looking for complementary expertise and infrastructure to strengthen proposals and accelerate the deployment of innovative hydrogen solutions.
