Shock tube testing for CO2 with impurities
About
Conduct shock tube tests at the Gas Dynamic Test Facility in Alberta, Canada to determine the effects of impurities on the decompression behaviour of CO2 mixtures. Impurities can include argon, nitrogen, methane, benzene, hydrogen and others. Test results are used to determine the fracture toughness requirements to control running ductile fractures.
