Expression of Interest – Ankara Governorship (Türkiye)

The Ankara Governorship, EU and Foreign Affairs Office, is the regional public authority of Türkiye’s capital city, Ankara. We are actively engaged in European cooperation and currently coordinate several large-scale EU projects. In particular, we are managing two Horizon Europe projects in the fields of Culture and Societal Security, addressing issues such as cultural heritage resilience, community preparedness, and inclusive governance.

Our institution has strong experience in:

• EU project management (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, IPA, etc.) with multi-stakeholder international consortia,

• Capacity building for public administrations and local communities,

• Policy development and dissemination at regional and national levels,

• Building bridges between research, governance, and practice.

With this expertise, the Ankara Governorship is eager to contribute to CETPartnership 2025 project consortia, especially in the fields of:

• Governance and policy innovation,

• Awareness-raising and stakeholder engagement,

• Dissemination, communication, and exploitation of project results at national and European scale.

We are open to joining strong partnerships and bringing our experience, networks, and institutional capacity to support the Clean Energy Transition Partnership goals.
