About
We, the institute for Power Systems Technology and Power Mechatronics (EneSys) at the Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB), are offering potential collaboration for a project in the area of grid-supporting and grid-forming Photovoltaic Systems (PV). With extensive expertise in control, energy and renewable systems engineering, EneSys utilizes its innovative and unique research-infrastructures for testing and validating control concepts under realistic conditions.
With the ever increasing penetration of PV into the power grid and decreased centralized energy sources, the demand for novel control algorithms is indispensable. The aim of the project is to develop such control algorithms to support the grid and enable flexibility of the underlying energy conversion process.
