The Research Center for Pharmaceutical Engineering (RCPE) is a global leader in pharmaceutical engineering sciences. We support our partners in developing and manufacturing advanced medicines for patients worldwide by optimizing products and processes across the pharmaceutical value chain. RCPE’s services encompass the entire value chain of pharmaceutical product development, including continuous API synthesis, advanced formulations, next-generation manufacturing, as well as device design and optimization. Through our active participation in numerous use case demonstrations, RCPE has established itself as a strong interface between academia and industry. In this role, we are highly open to demonstrating AI applications and digital tools within our pilot plant facilities, which enable the demonstration of complete end-to-end production routes under realistic industrial conditions.

As a non-profit, private company owned by Graz University of Technology (49%), the University of Graz (36%), and Joanneum Research GmbH (15%), RCPE bridges excellent science, application-driven research, and industry in a business-oriented approach.
