About

Our research group at Université de Moncton (Canada) focuses on the development of advanced AI-assisted solutions for the analysis and integration of multi-sensory data in real-world applications, including healthcare, industrial systems, and safety-critical environments.

We specialize in AI agents, multimodal artificial intelligence applications that integrate data from multiple sensing modalities such as vision, audio, and other sensor signals.

Our work combines machine learning, computer vision, and multimodal data analysis to design intelligent systems capable of perceiving, interpreting, and interacting with complex environments. Current research activities include multimodal perception systems, AI-driven behavioral analysis, AI-driven voice analysis for early detection and diagnostic support in healthcare applications, explainable artificial intelligence, and intelligent sensing technologies for real-world deployment.

We actively collaborate with academic and industrial partners and contribute to the development and validation of AI technologies through experimental platforms and applied research environments in Canada. Our team has experience working on projects related to healthcare monitoring, human behaviour analysis, robotics perception, and intelligent sensing systems.

Within Horizon Europe projects, we can contribute to:

• Development of AI agents and multimodal AI systems
• Computer vision and sensing technologies
• Integration and analysis of multimodal data
• Human-centred evaluation and explainable AI methods
• Real-world validation and testing of AI technologies in North American environments

We are particularly interested in collaborations addressing emerging AI technologies, intelligent sensing systems, and data-driven applications with real-world impact.
