About
Resilient Digital Twins & Edge Solutions for Environmental Monitoring
We own the digital twin of a former quarry now functioning as a nature reserve and have access to the physical site as a demonstrator. The site tracks hydrological dynamics, rainfall, groundwater, and meteorological impacts, including effects from distant weather events.
Developed via the Swarmchestrate project, the site demonstrates our expertise in:
-
Edge and swarm computing for real-time environmental monitoring
-
Science-faithful, high-resolution digital twins
-
Resilient, adaptive, low-impact sensor networks with energy optimisation
-
Overcoming site limitations in connectivity and power, including disaster scenarios
-
Local and cloud-linked twin architectures
Our methods are fully portable, allowing partners to leverage our software, data processing pipelines, and twin infrastructure with or without using the physical site. Ideal for ecosystem modelling, water management, climate resilience, and disaster-prepared infrastructure monitoring.
