MAGISTER (Multi-function Automated orchestration GEnerator) represents a paradigm shift in industrial autonomy, designed to overcome the critical "Reliability Gap" that currently prevents the scalable deployment of Generative AI in high-stakes sectors. By architecting a novel Neuro-Symbolic meta-orchestrator, the project moves beyond the stochastic limitations of Foundation Models, utilizing them strictly for flexible intent elicitation while delegating execution to a rigorous suite of model-based solvers (Automated Planning, Combinatorial Search, and Formal Methods). This unique "Architect-and-Crew" framework synthesizes, verifies, and supervises specialized AI agents in real-time, delivering a self-healing autonomous system that ensures the mathematical correctness and safety guarantees mandated by the EU AI Act. Positioned as a direct response to the HORIZON-CL4-2026-05 flagship call, MAGISTER not only advances the state-of-the-art in trustworthy AI but also secures European strategic autonomy by leveraging the continent's dominance in symbolic reasoning to transform AI from a conversational assistant into a verifiable industrial engine for manufacturing, logistics, and critical infrastructure.
