i2CAT is a research and technology center based in Barcelona, Spain. We bring a strong expertise in Distributed AI and Data Architectures. We propose two use cases in the Apply AI sector.

Supply Chains for Space and Defense

Designing and Certifying space components relies heavily non-European software that has a steep learning curve.

For the topic, we propose to develop two types of agents:

• Orchestration Agents that take high-level requirements and turn them into verifiable technical specs.

• Verification Agents that check designs against ESA/ECSS standards in real-time.

i2CAT has an on-going pilot with an ESA-backed startup.

Automotive and Mobility

Development of Large Multimodal Models specifically for the mobility sector, that can be transferred across different mobility scenarios, from more predictable, but dangerous environments like a highway, to more complex slower scenarios like a busy street. 

i2CAT has a strong expertise in the sector, and can offer testing grounds, including our own mobility lab at the Port of Barcelona.
