About
Epon is a Belgian SME operating solar and storage assets on the day-ahead, imbalance and flexibility markets. Through EponEdge we deploy renewable-powered GPU compute at industrial sites and operate it as a grid-flexible asset.
We are looking to join a consortium for DATA-09 (IA) as a partner covering the "energy-efficient AI processing" outcome: intelligent workload scheduling, power capping and integration of on-site/off-site renewables and storage. We can also contribute an edge use case to a DATA-03 (RIA) consortium.
What we bring:

A working fleet control stack (TRL 6–7): carbon- and price-aware GPU job scheduling, power capping and workload preemption via a setpoint API, with DCGM/Prometheus telemetry.

A live demonstration site in Wallonia: solar plant with 5 MWh battery, suitable for real-world testing of renewable integration and storage dispatch with AI workloads.

Energy-market operations expertise (nomination, imbalance, flexibility services to DSO/TSO) to quantify energy and carbon KPIs.
