Independent AI Auditing & Ethics Partner for Trustworthy, Compliant AI Systems

Eticas is Europe's leading independent organization in AI auditing and ethics, with 40+ EU-funded projects won since FP7 and 12-14 active at any given time. We combine a mission-driven corporation (Eticas.ai) and a non-profit Foundation to deliver hands-on, in-production evaluation of AI systems — including predictive models, LLM-based systems, and agentic pipelines — with particular expertise in trustworthy AI, data spaces, AI Act compliance, industrial AI, human-centric AI, and robotics.

We are looking to join CL4 consortia to lead on:

• AI Act conformity assessment — structured, evidence-based evaluation mapped directly to regulatory obligations, strengthening the proposal's Impact score and delivering a compliance pathway evaluators increasingly require

• AI system evaluation and auditing — independent testing of bias, explainability, robustness, data quality, and human oversight in real deployment environments

• Ethics governance and data protection — Ethics Advisory Board leadership, DPIA management, translating EC Ethics Guidelines into concrete, actionable requirements for technical partners

• Ongoing monitoring — continuous tracking of AI performance metrics beyond the project's end, a key differentiator for exploitation plans

Our team includes European Commission ethics evaluators and Horizon Europe proposal reviewers, and has authored EC guidance on ethics in EU-funded research. We have relevant track record in projects such as FINDHR (fairness in AI hiring systems, coord. UPF), ACHILLES (AI robustness and cybersecurity, coord. Fraunhofer AICOS), DATAPACT (data governance in AI pipelines, coord. SINTEF), and ARGENTIC (AI governance and compliance, coord. Maggioli).
