Demos has extensive expertise in societal implications of emerging technologies. This includes ethics, trustworthiness and responsibility in AI and data, bias and discrimination in AI, participatory design with citizens, gender and intersectionality in technology as well as data and AI governance, including EU policies. We have an interdisciplinary research background from social sciences, political science, organisational studies, urban geography and innovation studies.
