Demos Helsinki / Demos Research Institute has extensive expertise in societal implications of emerging technologies. This includes ethics, trustworthiness and responsibility in AI/data, bias and discrimination in AI, participatory design with citizens, gender and intersectionality in technology as well as AI governance and policy in the EU.
