ERT S.A

ERT S.A. is a private law legal entity, operating in the form of a Société Anonyme, for the provision of public radio, television and internet services. It is supervised by the State and has the obligations of a Public Company.

The mission and purpose of ERT S.A. are determined by its founding law (Law 4173/2013) and include in particular the information, education and entertainment of the Greek people, the contribution to ensuring pluralism, the independent transmission of information and news and the promotion of works of speech and art, the guarantee of universal access to its services by all residents of the territory and the Greek diaspora.

ERT S.A. is at the center of public life, providing access, with its terrestrial digital transmission network, to more than 97% of the inhabitants of Greece. It owns and operates television stations, radio stations (95.8 Fm & 102 Fm), regional stations (ERT3), digital services (including ERTFLIX, ERT echo, innovative accessibility services), musical ensembles and an audiovisual archive.

It is also a member of the European Broadcasting Union (“EBU”) and collaborates with all Public Broadcasters.
