End-to-End Electrochemical Advanced Oxidation (AOP) Systems Using BDD for PFAS and Emerging Micropollutants
Managing Partner /Founder at DIASOL Research Development Engineering Inc
Istanbul, Türkiye
About
DIASOL develops scalable and modular end-to-end electrochemical advanced oxidation (AOP) systems based on boron-doped diamond (BDD) technology, targeting the complete mineralization of PFAS and other emerging micropollutants.
Unlike conventional treatment technologies such as adsorption and membrane filtration, which transfer contaminants to another phase, DIASOL’s electrochemical AOP systems enable direct and efficient destruction of persistent pollutants, including PFAS, pharmaceutical residues, textile dyes, and other hard-to-treat organic compounds.
The end-to-end systems integrate high-performance BDD electrodes, modular reactor design, and energy-efficient power electronics with smart control units, enabling compact, decentralized, and scalable water treatment solutions from pre-treatment to final polishing.
Current development focuses on pilot-scale validation and real-world industrial applications.
DIASOL is seeking collaboration with industrial partners, water utilities, pilot site owners, and research organisations to integrate electrochemical AOP systems into Horizon Europe Zero Pollution projects, contributing as a core technology provider for PFAS and emerging micropollutant destruction.
