Developing innovative phytosanitary treatments for plant pests
R&D manager at Orpia Group
Montpellier, France
About
Orpia Group is a company specialized in the valorisation of biosourced co-products, with a strong focus on cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) and its derivatives. We develop and supply CNSL-based ingredients and systems.
For the HORIZON-CL6-2026-02-FARM2FORK-01, we aim to position ourselves as a technical and industrial partner, contributing to the formulation and scale-up of innovative, sustainable post-harvest phytosanitary treatment solutions. Our contribution is focused on formulation development (emulsions, salts, formulated systems), robustness, and applicability under operational conditions.
We do not position ourselves as experts in agronomy or phytosanitary regulation. Instead, we support consortia by providing material-level expertise, helping translate bio-based active substances into stable, scalable and practically applicable solutions, in close collaboration with partners responsible for biological efficacy testing, regulatory validation and field implementation.
We are particularly interested in collaborations related to post-harvest treatments for fruits and vegetables, where biosourced materials and formulation know-how can contribute to more sustainable and effective phytosanitary approaches.
