Orpia Group is a French start-up specialized in the recycling and valorization of cashew nut by-products. We have developed an innovative process to extract oil from cashew nut shells and have built strong expertise in the purification and modification of key constituents of cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL). Thanks to the unique structure of these bio-based alkyl phenols, we can transform them through versatile chemical pathways. These compounds can replace petroleum-based molecules in a wide range of applications, including plasticizers, cosmetics, animal nutrition, agricultural products (phytosanitary solutions and biocides), paints, and advanced materials. In addition, they are highly valuable reactive building blocks for numerous polymerization processes.
