About
Highly experienced team of prof. Dagmar Dzúrová focusing on the intersection of demography, social geography, and medical geography, with extensive expertise in population health, social inequalities, and their socio-economic determinants seeks partner for collaboration, not only in CL6 calls. The team has a long-standing track record of participating in and managing major international research projects, including Horizon Europe, FP7, and EU Next Generation-funded programs. Key projects since 2010 include leading the research group on socioeconomic inequalities in health within the National Institute for Socioeconomic Research on the Impact of Diseases and Systemic Risks (NPO-SYRI, 2022–2025), contributing to Horizon Europe’s ESSPIN project (2022–2025), heading the UNCE Centre on regions and localities under globalization (2018–2023), and serving as Czech guarantor for large European projects such as EUROHEALTHY (Horizon 2020) and SOPHIE (FP7). The team combines deep scientific expertise with strong experience in managing complex, interdisciplinary, and multinational projects, offering partners proven capacity in project design, execution, and dissemination. In addition, Prof. Dzúrová’s team has built a unique Master’s program in Social Epidemiology at Charles University, combining research excellence with international academic collaboration, including ongoing cooperation with University College London.
