The Faculty of Science at Charles University is one of the leading research institutions in Central Europe, with a strong tradition in fundamental and applied research across biology, chemistry, geology, geography, and environmental sciences. Our researchers contribute to cutting-edge work in biodiversity and ecology, evolutionary biology, molecular and cellular biology, environmental chemistry, geosciences, climate and landscape dynamics, hydrology, and social-environmental interactions.
