HORIZON-CL6-2026-03-GOVERNANCE-09 Looking for consortium – Expertise in knowledge exchange, AKIS and innovation governance

BETA Technological Center (https://betatechcenter.com/) is seeking to join a consortium preparing a proposal for HORIZON-CL6-2026-03-GOVERNANCE-09: Increasing knowledge flows to practice within AKIS via EU thematic knowledge hubs. BETA offers a robust combination of knowledge brokerage, territorial transfer expertise, and digital sustainability solutions. These elements work together to strengthen innovation systems and agricultural knowledge flows. The Governance for Sustainability Unit supports multi-actor co-creation processes, the development of thematic networks and participatory governance frameworks that connect research, advisory services and end users. This involves facilitating dialogue between public authorities, research organisations, rural stakeholders and farmers to bridge the gap between evidence, practice and policy. Furthermore, the Knowledge Transfer and Green Digital Transition Units contribute valuable expertise to achieving specific outcomes in this area. The Knowledge Transfer Unit builds on this with its experience of transferring research results, establishing territorial and sectoral partnerships, and co-designing dissemination pathways. The unit has extensive experience of ensuring that innovations are generated not only in research environments, but also translated into practice across diverse rural, agri-food and environmental contexts. Conversely, the Green Digital Transition Unit adds a critical digital dimension by integrating digital tools and data solutions to improve accessibility, traceability and usability of knowledge. These include digital platforms, dashboards and participatory interfaces that facilitate real-time knowledge exchange, decision support and the development of scalable learning communities. Digital sustainability solutions ensure that knowledge flows are efficient, measurable, comparable and adaptive to user needs. BETA’s approach emphasises scalability and interoperability with existing AKIS structures, as well as alignment with EU and national innovation policies.
