Łukasiewicz – Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry is a leading research institution with over 70 years of experience, working closely with scientific centres and industrial partners in Poland and abroad. The Institute specialises in the development of innovative technologies for the synthesis and safety assessment evaluation of chemical substances and their mixtures used in plant protection products, biocides, veterinary products, pharmaceuticals and food and feed additives. The Institute's scope of activity includes comprehensive research and development projects, covering toxicity and ecotoxicity assessment, as well as environmental and process safety issues. Key research areas include chemistry, chemical technology, pharmacy, biotechnology, toxicology, ecotoxicology, medical devices, agriculture, and matters related to defence and national security. Doctor of Technical Sciences, a graduate of Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy in the field of composites and plastics. She obtained her doctor's degree in 2011 for the work "Influence of natural fibers surface modification on the mechanical properties of laminates". Author and co-author of over a dozen publications in the field of technology and research composite and polymer materials, both on a national and an international scale. The main areas of professional specialization and interests include, among others, issues of materials manufacturing technology, R & D research, assessment of material properties and quality management systems.
