Łukasiewicz – Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry is a leading research institution with over 70 years of experience, working closely with scientific centres and industrial partners in Poland and abroad. The Institute specialises in the development of innovative technologies for the synthesis and safety assessment evaluation of chemical substances and their mixtures used in plant protection products, biocides, veterinary products, pharmaceuticals and food and feed additives. The Institute's scope of activity includes comprehensive research and development projects, covering toxicity and ecotoxicity assessment, as well as environmental and process safety issues. Key research areas include chemistry, chemical technology, pharmacy, biotechnology, toxicology, ecotoxicology, medical devices, agriculture, and matters related to defence and national security. With an interdisciplinary approach and state-of-the-art research facilities, the Institute provides innovative and safe technological solutions, supporting partners at every stage – from industrial research to implementation and commercialisation. We actively participate in national and international projects, seeking partners for research and development consortia.
