AgriLearn360 – Digital Skills for a Resilient and Smart Agricultural Future
About
AgriLearn360 aims to empower farmers, farm workers, and advisors by providing targeted, accessible, and practice-oriented training in digital technologies, sustainable practices, and functional food innovation. The project responds to the urgent need to equip rural stakeholders with the knowledge and skills required to adapt to rapid technological and climate-related changes in agriculture.
Objectives:
-
To develop and pilot a modular training program focused on precision livestock farming, digital traceability, and functional food value chains.
-
To co-create learning materials with end-users (farmers, advisors) through participatory workshops and case studies.
-
To deliver knowledge at the right time and place through a blended learning approach (digital tools, field visits, mobile apps, and local training hubs).
-
To foster collaboration between researchers, SMEs, and farmer networks across Eastern Europe and the EU.
Expected Impact:
-
Enhanced digital and sustainable farming competencies among rural actors.
-
Increased resilience and competitiveness of small and medium-sized farms.
-
Strengthened advisory systems through continuous learning and innovation sharing.
Coordinator Profile:
Dr. Andra Sabina Neculai Valeanu, veterinarian and researcher with extensive experience in coordinating research and innovation initiatives in dairy farming, rural training, and digital transformation. Graduate of EIT InfraBooster, with a strong background in One Health, functional food systems, and precision technologies.
Role in the Consortium: As a training and dissemination lead, Dr. Valeanu will co-design learning content, coordinate field workshops and digital course development, and liaise with farmer associations and rural advisory services. She will also support pilot implementation in Romania and Eastern Europe, ensuring that the educational materials are grounded in local realities while meeting EU-level innovation standards.
