Sustainable Nutrition and Novel Foods for Healthy Ageing and Disease
About
I am a nutrition and dietetics researcher focusing on sustainable dietary strategies for healthy ageing, cardiovascular disease prevention, and the acceptance of novel foods. My work explores the intersection of nutrition, socio-economic risk factors, and public health. I have experience in conducting nutritional assessments, evaluating dietary behaviors, and developing community-based interventions tailored to vulnerable populations. I am particularly interested in how consumer attitudes and communication strategies affect the adoption of sustainable and innovative food products. I also work on promoting food literacy and behavior change through culturally appropriate, evidence-based tools. I aim to contribute to Horizon Europe projects by supporting inclusive, health-oriented, and environmentally responsible food systems that improve quality of life and reduce health inequalities, especially among ageing populations.
