Dokuz Eylül University Textile Engineering department conducts original R&D activities in advanced technology areas such as smart textiles, technical textiles, sustainable production technologies, composite materials developed from natural and recycled fibers, functional clothing products, and 3D printing technologies. With our well-equipped laboratory infrastructure and multidisciplinary research team, we carry out innovative and application-oriented projects. We have a strong collaboration network with the textile industry and actively work with some of Turkey’s leading textile companies. Through these university-industry partnerships, we contribute to the development of value-added textile products. Our team actively participates in national and international funding programs, focusing on producing solution-oriented projects tailored to the needs of the sector. In this context, we aim to contribute to current themes such as sustainability, digitalization, and functional textile applications, and we are committed to developing innovative solutions in collaboration with our strong academic staff and industrial partners.
