Horizon or Eureka Partnership: Production of Precise Multitask Millturn Additive Manufacturing and CNC Machining Machine
About
In modern mechanical manufacturing, there are many methods for processing mechanical parts: in addition to cutting, there are also casting, forging, welding, stamping, extrusion, etc. However, all parts with high precision requirements and fine surface roughness requirements generally need to be processed. Finally, they are cut and processed on machine tools. Machine tools play an important role in the modernization of the national economy. A lathe is a machine tool that mainly uses a turning tool to perform turning operations on rotating workpieces. A lathe can also be used for operations related to drills, reamers, guides, molds, and knurled tools. Lathes are mainly used for processing structures, disks, sleeves and other workpieces with rotating surfaces. It is a type of machine tool widely used in mechanical manufacturing and repair factories. The turning, freezing, drilling and other features of the previous technical lathes are separated by different machine tools, which causes excessive investment in product production machine tools. A variety of machine tools need to be purchased, which increases the cost. In addition, the same product is distributed to other machine tools to be broken for their intensity, such as updating, which greatly reduces the work intensity. At the same time, the current machining center work tables mainly use rotary work tables, and rotary work tables generally cannot be positioned effectively and accurately from the point of view of braking, causing the workpiece positioned on the work table to rotate and change the processing direction. As a result, in the distribution of the workpiece in maintenance.
Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, a compound machining center with reasonable structure, capable of multi-functional machining operations such as milling, turning and drilling, easy to operate, high workpiece processing efficiency, and additive manufacturing and CNC machining is proposed within the scope of this project.
