One of our contacts from the Food Research and Biochemistry Group specializes in microbial and algal-based protein extraction for alternative protein sources. Their expertise includes bioactive peptide enrichment, large-scale fermentation, and bioprocess optimization. They support SMEs in scaling up biotech solutions and conduct advanced characterization of novel food ingredients. Their work also includes computational safety assessments for toxicity and allergenicity, as well as structural modeling of bioactive peptides and proteins.
