Composition: organic Tonda Gentile Trilobata hazelnuts 50.5%, organic raw cane sugar, organic cocoa powder. Suggested pairing: Pomerol, Saint-Émilion, aged tawny port.

Cravanzana, Piedmont — the hazelnut in its homeland. In the heart of the Belbo Valley, the village of Cravanzana grows the PGI Tonda Gentile Trilobata, recognised by chefs and chocolatiers as the world's finest hazelnut: round calibre, a skin that lifts after roasting, a finish of cooked butter and dry almond. Around a hundred goats graze freely among the hazelnut trees, naturally clearing the undergrowth, fertilising the soil and keeping pests at bay. No tractor, no weedkiller. Nature self-regulates. All raw materials are certified organic.

No preservatives, no emulsifiers. A thin layer of oil may rise to the surface — the signature of a pure paste. Stir before the first tasting. Store in a cool, dry place away from light and heat. Produced and packaged in Italy for Colette Demay.
