Ecodesign and Circular Economy

Ecodesign and Circular Economy are key to achieve a more sustainable society. Their principles must be taken on account for improving the production processes of manufacturers and the activities of service providers, as well as increase the sustainability of the different lifestyles of their customers and people in general. The sustainability of companies has to be monitored, using different tools and indicators that can measure the environmental performance of their activities. Once located the factors that need to be improved, Ecodesign will be taken on account to introduce changes to these factors and achieve an overall better environmental performance of the companies. INTROMAC is particularly committed to improving the sustainability of the manufacturers of building materials, providing its expertise and carrying out research projects with the aim of developing materials that are more environmentally friendly, by studing the use of renewable materials and waste valorization. Activities for the diffusion of Ecodesign and Circular Economy principles are customarily organized by INTROMAC, and this activities are not only for researchers and manufactures, but also for students and people in general.
