It provides a method for making reliable weight measurements with fast processing speed. The new method dynamically estimates the re‐sponse of a load cell faster and more accurately than traditional techniques using a novel analysis of the dynamic response of the load cell. The method improves measurement performance in terms of both convergence speed and measurement quality. It allows a weighing ma‐chine to measure faster, thus increasing production volume. The measurement time can be reduced of about 50%. Last but not least, it does not require the knowledge/estimation of measurement time windows like other traditional methods, and can be implemented on an embedded micro-controller.
