Certest Biotec S.L.

Certest Pharma, the pharmaceutical division of Spain-based Certest Biotec, develops proprietary ionizable lipids and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) technologies for the delivery of nucleic acid therapeutics.

Our platform comprises a library of more than 1,500 ionizable lipids generated through semi-rational design and machine-learning approaches, including biodegradable candidates and chemistries designed with freedom to operate in mind. We work with mRNA, saRNA, circRNA, siRNA and pDNA, as well as CRISPR gene-editing systems, and support programmes from lipid screening and LNP formulation to analytical characterisation, targeting, lyophilisation, scale-up and technology transfer.

Our portfolio includes delivery solutions with liver, spleen, lung and immune-cell applications, together with ligand-mediated targeting approaches using antibodies, antibody fragments and peptides. Certest also offers lyophilised LNP technology with long-term stability at room temperature. Our lead lipid, CP-LC-0729, is available in research and GMP grades and is supported by an FDA Drug Master File and non-human-primate data.

At the EU-Japan Partnering event, we would like to meet pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, academic groups and technology providers developing RNA therapeutics, vaccines and gene-editing programmes. We are open to lipid evaluation, formulation services, joint R&D and co-development projects, as well as platform- or product-specific licensing and technology-transfer collaborations.
